Less than one week after tornadoes ravaged Indianapolis’ east side, torrential rains brought unprecedented flooding to surrounding areas this weekend. Rising flood wyaters have displaced more than 10,000 residents and killed at least two. President Bush this morning declared 29 counties a Federal Disaster Area. Community needs during these disasters are straining resources of the Salvation Army and other relief agencies. Thanks to your generosity, we raised $21,205 in less than 12 hours on Tuesday!
Z-99.5, 107.9 The Track, and Newstalk 1430 WXNT-AM will accept donations to benefit the Salvation Army Emergency Disaster Services through Friday. 100% of all money collected during this fundraiser will go towards Hoosier Flood Relief, helping your friends and neighbors recover from this disaster.
