The cold month of January is behind us and February is here. Are you beginning to get tired of being stuck in the house? This month brings a lot of great events everywhere across the city from Carmel to Greenwood. Here are a few of our favorites for this month:

 

When: February 2nd at 7:30PM

Where: Old National Centre (502 N. New Jersey St., Indianapolis, IN 46204)

This event showcases many of your favorite professional dancers performing ballroom and contemporary dances from ABC’s hit show Dancing with the Stars!  Tickets are available here.

 

10th Annual Brewers Guild of Indiana Winterfest

When: February 3rd at 3:00PM

Where: Indiana State Fairgrounds (1202 E. 38th St., Indianapolis, IN 46205)

Do you love to sample the craft beer from all around our state (and great national breweries)? This is one of the best events of the year for beer geeks (like our very own, Josh). Over 100 brewers will be present providing 3oz samples of their creations. Tickets are available here. Cheers!

 

Suburban Indy Home & Outdoor Living Show

When: February 5, 2018 – February 12, 2018

Where: Grand Park (19000 Grand Park Blvd, Westfield, IN 46074)

This show was designed to connect Suburban Indy homeowners with local businesses to discuss your landscape, home improvement and home building needs! At this show you will also be able to sample and purchase local food and wine, shop with local artists, purchase fresh cut flowers, find out what’s “on trend” for Spring, plus learn the best ways to get your home ready for the Spring & Summer season!

 

Museum by Moonlight

When: February 10, 8PM – 12 Midnight

Where: Children’s Museum (3000 N. Meridian St., Indianapolis, IN 46206)

The world’s largest children’s museum is throwing a party for kids at heart on February 10th! Exclusively for adults 21 and over, guests can explore five floors of new and classic exhibits, enjoy drinks (first one’s included), and refuel with free food samples from restaurants. All proceeds benefit The Children’s Museum Fund, which ensures that all children and families, regardless of income, can experience the museum. 

 

A Moderated Conversation with Michelle Obama

When: February 13, 7PM

Where: Bankers Life Fieldhouse (125 S. Pennsylvania St., Indianapolis, IN 46204)

Women’s Fund of Central Indiana, a special interest fund of Central Indiana Community Foundation, will host “A Moderated Conversation with former First Lady Michelle Obama,” at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 13, at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. 

 

Circle City Donut Dash 5K

When: February 16th, 9AM

Where: 1800 E. 10th St., Indianapolis, IN 46201

Local organizations Teachers’ Treasures and American College of Education, are excited to announce their third annual Circle City Donut Dash 5K, a walker and runner friendly event that supports teachers and local schools, all while providing delicious donuts for participants along the way. The Donut Dash attracts educators, students and community members to a fun event benefitting Teacher’s Treasures, a not-for-profit that obtains and distributes school supplies free to teachers of students in need.

 

Haunted Ghost Walk Indianapolis Downtown

When: February 23rd, 7:30PM

Where: Monument Circle, 1 Monument Circle, Indianapolis, IN 46204

Visit society and the wicked backlife of Indianapolis in this tour. Visited are haunted theatres, businesses and other areas where the living chose to become dead and walk forever. Meet north side of Monument.

 

NFL Scouting Combine

When: February 23rd, 7:30PM

Where: Lucas Oil Stadium, 500 S. Capitol Ave., Indianapolis, IN 46225

This February, over three hundred of the very best college football players will be invited to participate in the NFL Scouting Combine (National Invitational Camp) in Indianapolis, Indiana. Top Executives, Coaching Staffs, Player Personnel Departments and Medical Personnel from all 32 NFL teams will be on hand to evaluate the nation’s top college football players eligible for the upcoming NFL Draft. This intense, four-day job interview is an exciting time for the athletes and a vital step in achieving their dreams of playing in the NFL.
