Indy Star

There are plenty of arts and entertainment events in Indianapolis this weekend.

Friday morning, visit Monument Circle for the Colts Blue Friday Bellobration. This event runs from 10:30 am – 1:00 pm.

Colts fans are encouraged to show their spirit by wearing the color blue and participating in activities to fire them up for the upcoming Colts game. Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Bellobration is coming to Conseco Fieldhouse, September 4-7 and the Indianapolis Colts are gearing up for the inaugural home opener on Sunday, September 7th vs. the Chicago Bears at Lucas Oil Stadium.

On Friday night, check out the Mass Ave Fall Gallery Walk.  Galleries and shops will be open late. It’s a nice event if you’re going through Indy Fringe withdrawal!

On Saturday 30,000 people will attend the 42nd Penrod Arts Fair. 300 plus artists, five stages of entertainment, and a children’s area will be set up on the grounds of the IMA. New this year: the Budweiser Cleidsdales and the Mayor’s Award Reception. Mayors from all over central Indiana will show their support for the arts. All the proceeds from ticket sales go back to local art educational programs.
