It seems like it has taken forever, but the new airport is finally opening.

At long last, we can say “INDeed! It’s Here!”

After 33 years of planning and three years of construction, the first flights at the new Indianapolis International Airport (IND) will arrive beginning at 8 p.m. and after on Nov. 11, 2008. All outbound flights leaving Indianapolis will depart from the new airport beginning Nov. 12, 2008.
