What a great area we live in!!  With interest rates low and housing prices remaining low, this makes buying a home in the Indianapolis area “Affordable”.

Home sales in April improved greatly over 2009 with Hamilton County sales increasing by35%, Marion County by 14% and Hancock County by 17%.  What does this mean for you, it means that if you are are considering selling your home, properties are moving and if you are buying, now is the time.

If a home is priced competitively and shows well, it is not unheard of to have multiple offers or sale for list price!  I have personally seen this, I listed a home in Lawrence Township and received a full price offer with the 2nd showing we had and also had 2 other buyers who were wanting to make offers, one without ever seeing the property!

What are these buyers looking for?  Updated kitchens with new appliances & granite, updated baths, light fixtures, door and cabinet hardware, neutral decor and overall curb appeal!  So use this holiday weekend to start your improvements!  Go go your local hardware store and get your projects started or call a contractor and let them work their magic.

Give me a call, I will be glad to meet with you and assist you in preparing your wish list!
