It’s official: the holidays are just around the corner! As you prepare your parties and family gatherings – all which create a lot of trash – keep this helpful bit of information in mind. Below is the trash pickup schedule for the next two months, including any holidays that will be observed by the public works or utilities services depending on where you live.

Fishers
If you’re in Fishers, there are a couple of options for who collects your trash. For Waste Management, your trash won’t be collected on Thanksgiving, Christmas or New Year’s Day and pickup will be delayed one day for weekday services. For Ray’s, your trash will be collected on Thanksgiving, but not on Christmas or New Year’s Day. For Republic, your trash or recycling will not be collected on Thanksgiving, Christmas or New Year’s Day.

Noblesville

Republic Services collects most of the trash and recycling in the Noblesville area. Your trash and recycling will not be collected on Thanksgiving, Christmas or New Year’s Day.

Carmel

The City of Carmel’s website provides information on trash routes, as well as schedule times. The trash will not be collected on Thanksgiving, Christmas Day or New Year’s Day and will run one day late for the remainder of the week following the holiday. The website also provides information for what to do if you’ll be out of town for an extended period of time, so if you’re travelling this holiday season, be sure to let Carmel Utilities know.

Indianapolis

If your trash or recycling is picked up by Republic or the Department of Public Works, your trash will not be collected on Thanksgiving, Christmas or New Year’s Day. If your trash is picked up by Ray’s, they will collect on Thanksgiving Day, but not Christmas or New Year’s Day.
