The following is a list of Fourth of July-related events in central Indiana

Carmel

CarmelFest will host B105.7’s Fireworks Spectacular in central Carmel. The fireworks start at 9:45 pm and be sure to tune into 105.7 FM for music accompanyment. Carmel Fest.

Come to the annual CarmelFest Freedom Ball on July 5 at the Ritz Charles. This event is black tie optional and includes a 5-course meal, cash bar, auction, dancing and live music by Five Easy Pieces. Tickets are $75 each and the event starts at 6pm.

The 3rd Annual CarmelFest Freedom Run is a 4 mile run that will take place on July 4. The course will wind through Carmel neighborhoods and the Monon Trail, finishing at the parade. The run begins at 8am at Carmel High School. Run is $20 per person and each participant gets a patriotic t-shirt, bib number, goodie bag, and post-race refreshments. Register for this event.

Indianapolis

The President Benjamin Harrison Home will be hosting a Naturalization Ceremony at 10 a.m. on July 2 on the south lawn. Judge Sarah Evans Barker will preside over the ceremony, welcoming those who have become qualified U.S. citizens. Tours of the President Benjamin Harrison Home are available after the ceremony. The Children’s Museum will host Freedom Fest from 4-8 p.m on July 3. This free event will feature patriotic activities throughout the museum.  Visit the museum site or call 334.3322 for details
