Gymnasts from all over the United States will participate in the 16th annual Circle of Stars Gymnastics Invitational. Event organizers are gearing up this year for more than 3,600 gymnasts, boys and girls, from women’s and men’s teams, to flip into Indianapolis the weekend of Feb. 20-22, 2009, at the Indiana Convention Center.
Circle of Stars Gymnastics Invitational is a premiere three-day, amateur gymnastics competition, which ranks among the top two largest gymnastics competitions in the United States. This event will host five exhibit halls with six gyms of simultaneous competition throughout the weekend.

DeVeau’s School of Gymnastics owner Joan DeVeau said, “More than 90 collegiate coaches have been invited to begin their recruiting for the 2009/10 season. We’re looking forward to hosting all of the talented gymnast and NCAA coaches!”
Women’s sessions will take place each day in all of the gyms at 8:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., while men’s sessions on Saturday and Sunday will be 8:00 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. One of the highlights of the Circle of Stars Gymnastics Invitational will be the Level 10/Open sessions, which take place all day Saturday, February 21. Another highlight is the $1,500 scholarship to be awarded to one junior or senior male or female gymnast who competes at the invitational and submits an application.
