We knew Kim Carpenter well as a neighbor before we needed her services as a realtor.     When we decided that it was time to downsize we knew that she was the person that we wanted for our real estate needs.   She assisted us not only in the sale of our existing home but also in the purchase of our new home.

Kim gave us excellent advice in the sale of our existing house including when it was best to put it on the market, how best to market it, what the asking price should be, etc.    She recommended that we work with stagers to best prepare our home for sale, and had her photographer capture the beauty of the home for the virtual tour that she produced, and which played an important part in the marketing of the home.

We trusted Kim’s judgment entirely and were rewarded well beyond our expectations.   In the first two days of putting our home on the market we had nine showings.  We had two offers simultaneously at the end of the second day, and had  another potential purchaser waiting in the wings to offer.  We sold our house for the asking price on the third day – an amazing turn of events given the stories of other people we know who also had had their homes on the market.

People do not routinely think of utilizing the services of a real estate agent when constructing a new home through a builder.    However, utilizing Kim as our agent during the purchase and construction of our new home was nearly as wise a decision as having her help in selling our old home.    During negotiations and construction there were several major issues that came up.    In each of these situations, I called Kim, and asked her assistance.  She put us in touch with the experts that we needed, and then went to bat for us with the builder.   We resolved every issue in our best interests, and are very happy with our new home thanks in good measure to Kim’s help.

In short, Kim is an energetic agent.  She knows real estate.  She knows the market.  She knows how to sell.  She is ethical and trustworthy.

We recommend Kim to people all the time.    When one of our children was moving back to Indianapolis from Virginia and needed a realtor, we recommended Kim to them.   Needless to say she helped them to purchase a very nice home within their budget, and only twenty minutes from where we live now!   We have friends who had their house on the market for over a year with another realtor.  We recommended Kim to them, and they subsequently sold their home in only two months.  Kim gets results!

Many factors go into the sale or purchase of a home.  Some you can control, others you cannot.  One factor you can control is the choice of your real estate agent.  We think Kim is the best.
